POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Assistant Dean of Students, the Director of Student Organizations will provide direct oversight for all aspects of the student clubs and organization program, student engagement platforms, student leadership raining, department social media initiatives, late night or weekend programming and leadership training, and will work jointly to create a student activities calendar. The Director will also serve as a professional resource for the Office of Student Engagement by supporting and leading department initiatives and events; and by serving on designated University committees. This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is not eligible to earn overtime pay or compensatory time for additional hours worked.
