Area Coordinator Chester
Widener University is currently seeking an Area Coordinator in the Office of Residence Life. This role reports to the Assistant Dean of Students, Office of Residence Life and provides support to our residential community. The Area Coordinator is responsible for the operation and management of co-ed residence halls ranging in size from 18-300 residential students. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to: paraprofessional staff development, student community development, administration, programming, student conduct, advising, multicultural education, professional development and daily professional collaboration with University staff members from other departments. Areas of emphasis may include first-year student residential education, upper-class apartment and Greek housing, and participation in Widener University Student Affairs and Residence Life projects events and committees.
Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach- Part-time Chester
Widener University is currently seeking a part-time Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach. This is a part-time, 20-25 hours per week, 6-month position, which reports to the Athletic Director. The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the golf programs including, but not limited to: recruitment/retention, campus integration, supervising an effective staff of assistant coaches, budget management and supporting student-athlete success in accordance with department/college/MAC/NCAA rules and regulations. Assistant/Associate Professor, Institute for Occupational Therapy Education - Tenure Track Chester
Widener University's Institute for Occupational Therapy Education Program is actively seeking a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor for the Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program in the College of Health and Human Services. This is a 10-month tenure-track position for a candidate that graduated with a degree in Occupational Therapy and earned a doctoral degree from an accredited college or university. The candidate must also have initial certification by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), eligibility for OT Licensure in Pennsylvania, 1-3 years teaching and research experience in an institution of higher education, and a minimum of 3 years clinical experience. Preference will be given to individuals with clinical, teaching, and research expertise in adults, pediatrics, and or/mental health and an interest in Doctoral Capstone oversight. This role reports to the Director of the Institute for Occupational Therapy Education in the College of Health and Human Services. Responsibilities include teaching courses on campus and online (when requested), serve as academic advisor and/or mentor for students and/or student organizations, contribute to scholarship through research, presentations and/or publications, maintain currency in the academic discipline through continuing study, research, and/or participation in professional activities, pursue service and leadership opportunities within the Program, College, University and profession, serve as Doctoral Capstone Faculty Mentor (4-5 students per year), and other duties assigned by the Director.
Assistant Professor, Institute for Occupational Therapy Education - Non-Tenure Track - Academic Fieldwork Coordinator Chester
Widener University Institute for Occupational Therapy Education Program is actively seeking a full-time 12 month clinical track position as Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor to serve as the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (AFWC) for the Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program in the College of Health and Human Services. This AWFC reports to the Director of the Institute for Occupational Therapy Education and is responsible for the OTD Program compliance with the fieldwork requirements defined by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) and outlined in the accreditation standards. The AFWC administers all aspects the fieldwork portion of the program which includes oversight of Level I and Level II Fieldwork rotations. Responsibilities also include interfacing with fieldwork educators for on-going clinical site development. A significant portion of the AFWC’s annual work load is dedicated to the management and administration of the fieldwork program, and fieldwork-related teaching.

Assistant Professor, Nursing - Population Health Chester

This role reports to Dean of the School of Nursing on the Chester, PA campus, beginning Fall semester 2021.
