Widener University is currently seeking a part-time (12-15 hours per week) Investigator for a two-year position with Innocence Project Delaware. Innocence Project Delaware, housed at Widener University Delaware Law School, is a nonprofit legal organization committed to exonerating individuals wrongfully convicted of crimes in Delaware and advocating for reforms to prevent future injustices. Through strategic litigation, advocacy, and public education, we seek to advance a fair and effective criminal legal system.
Staff Attorney Delaware
Widener University is currently seeking a Staff Attorney for its Philadelphia site of the Health, Education, and Legal Assistance Project: A Medical -Legal Partnership at Delaware Law School (HELP: MLP). This is a hybrid position in which the Staff Attorney will work remotely as well as in our West Philadelphia office. Reporting to the Director and Managing Attorney, this grant-funded Staff Attorney role will be responsible for providing civil legal assistance to families with low incomes participating in maternal and child health programs. This role will work as part of an interdisciplinary team that supports families by coordinating direct legal services to clients, as well as providing training and education to public health partners, and engaging in systemic advocacy activities.
Adjunct, Sociology Chester
Widener University’s Sociology Department in the College of Arts and Sciences is currently seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach in person Sociology courses. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 to 3 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis. Courses available for adjunct staffing are offered during the day.
